Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) president Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that the lifting the state of emergency from Pakistan without reversing the November 3 actions would be futile.

Lahore, Dec 8 : Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) president Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that the lifting the state of emergency from Pakistan without reversing the November 3 actions would be futile.

The crucial decisions would be taken in the All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) said Qazi and former Pakistan premier Nawaz Sharif after their meeting at latter's residence.

Sharif said that he exchanged views with Qazi on the issues pertaining to the charter of demand and the differences with the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).

"We want to win the war waged by the judiciary by all means, as it was a war of the 160 million people," The News quoted Sharif, as saying.

Meanwhile, Sharif has appealed to the PPP chairperson, Benazir Bhutto, to set a cut-off date for the restoration of deposed judges

Qazi also maintained that despite differences on the election issue, the MMA would continue existing.
