One of the top commanders of the Taliban, Mansoor Dadullah, has been dismissed by its chief Mullah Omar.
London/Kabul, Dec 30 : One of the top commanders of the Taliban, Mansoor Dadullah, has been dismissed by its chief Mullah Omar.
Dadullah, who was made one of the top officials of the Taliban after his brother Mullah Dadullah was killed by Nato forces in Afghanistan this summer, has been accused of 'disobeying the Islamic rules'.
"Mansoor Dadullah does not obey the rules of the Islamic emirate and violates it. Therefore it was decided not to appoint any post in the emirate to him," the BBC quoted a statement released by the Taliban.
Mansoor headed the Taleban's operation in Afghanistan's southern provinces of Helmand and Kandahar.
Meanwhile, in a new audiotape released by Al Qaeda, its chief Osama bin Laden vowed to widen his jihad against Israel.
"I would like to assure our people in Palestine that we will expand our jihad there,'' bin Laden said, adding, "We intend to liberate Palestine, the whole of Palestine from the (Jordan) river to the sea.
