A new study has found that parents pilfer an average of 131 pounds a year from their childrens piggy banks.
London, Dec 30 : A new study has found that parents pilfer an average of 131 pounds a year from their children's piggy banks.
It was also discovered that Scottish mums and dads are the most likely candidates to raid their kids' savings, reports the Daily Record.
Two out of five Scots admitted to having borrowed from their children, which is above the national average of one in three.
Scottish Widows, Fund and Life Assurance Society, claimed that British parents rip off around 300million pounds a year from their children.
But the study also found that one in two parents would save for their kids and three out of five children would put money away by themselves.
