Two separate bomb blasts rocked the tribal areas of Pakistan on Monday, and according to official sources, six people were killed and five were injured.
Islamabad, Dec.3 : Two separate bomb blasts rocked the tribal areas of Pakistan on Monday, and according to official sources, six people were killed and five were injured.
The first blast occurred at an Islamic religious school in Qilla Saifullah, a town near the Afghan border in Baluchistan province, they said.
"Six people were killed and five others injured, all of them students at the Imdadul Uloom seminary, when a bomb hidden in the bundle exploded during a search," provincial home secretary Furqan Bahadur said.
Police have sealed all roads in and out of the town and no one has claimed responsibility for the blast.
All casualties were students attending the madrassa, the officials said.
Another bomb blast occurred near Malakand Chowk area of Mardan, damaging a music shop. However, no casualty was reported.
According to police sources, the explosive was planted near power pylon.
