The last rituals and namaz-e-janaza of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto were offered in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh this afternoon.
Karachi, Dec 28 : The last rituals and namaz-e-janaza of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto were offered in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh this afternoon.
Hundreds of thousands of people gathered to offer the namaz-e-janaza. Benazir's relatives, friends, important personalities, party leaders, and party workers were among those who offered prayers.
According to The News, Hafiz Hakim Ali Mangi led the prayers. Mangi is the son of Maulana Mehmood Ahmed Bhutto, who had led the namaz-e-janaza of Benazir's father and former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1979.
The body of Benazir will be laid beside the grave of her father.
Benazir was assassinated on Thursday after addressing a public rally in Rawalpindi.
