Islamabad, Dec 21 : Pakistani authorities have detained Supreme Court Bar Association President Barrister Chaudhry Aitezaz Ahsan once again near Rawalpindi.
Aitezaz was on his way to meet deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudry when he was detained.
The Supreme Court Bar Association president was arrested last night near the Chakri area, when he was on his way to Islamabad from Lahore, The News reported.
His son, Ali Ahsan, who was with him at the moment of his arrest, told Geo News that policemen treated his father roughly and did not produce an arrest warrant when it was demanded.
Aitezaz has been shifted to Lahore where he has been put under house arrest.
