Karachi, Dec.19 : Renowned Pakistani artist Ismail Gulgee, his wife Zarine and their maid were found murdered at their residence here on Wednesday.
According to The News, initial investigations reveal that they were killed two to three days ago.
Ismail Gulgee was an award-winning, world famous artist. Born in Peshawar on October 25, 1926, Ismail was a qualified engineer from the U.S and a self-taught abstract and portrait painter.
He held his first art exhibition in 1950. One of his most famous works was a portrait of Afghanistan's Shah Zahir Shah that was painted in 1957.
