A suicide bomber blew himself up close to a school bus in Kamra, located in Northern Pakistan, approximately 63 kilometres west of the Islamabad today, injuring seven persons including five children.
Islamabad, Dec 10 : A suicide bomber blew himself up close to a school bus in Kamra, located in Northern Pakistan, approximately 63 kilometres west of the Islamabad today, injuring seven persons including five children.
According to District Police Officer Attock, Tariq Hanif, a suicide bomber in Kamra Cantonment targeted a military school bus. Five children, bus driver and conductor were injured in the attack.
The injured children have been shifted to PAC hospital for treatment. Security forces have cordoned off the area and started investigations.
Confirming the incident, the DG ISPR Major General Waheed Arshad said that the bus was carrying 30 to 35 children to school when it was attacked.
The suicide attacker died in the incident, The News quoted Arshad, as saying.
