Islamabad, Aug 7 : The Pakistan Government has ordered re-arrest of terrorists who were released from various jails recently.
The Interior Ministry has issued the direction in the wake of an upsurge in suicide bomb blasts in the country.
The ministry has issued a 14-point notification to all provinces, directing the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to keep record of prisoners in various jails, besides bio-metric database so that terrorism could be controlled, The News reported.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of each province has been directed to keep a record of "most wanted terrorists" and update the Red Book after every three months.
The ministry has also directed to eliminate the madrassas set up in private houses, and asked the provincial home departments and police to share such information with the National Crisis Management.
The order further asks the provinces to prepare three separate lists relating to suicide attacks.
The first list will have the names of the most wanted terrorists, the second will include the names of those who impart training to them, while the third list will carry the names of possible suicide attackers.
