London, Aug 6 : If people could pick whom they would sit besides on flights, the majority would not choose the British.

The news comes from a poll of 1,000 people who showed that not only are Brits the least friendly, but also the most likely to annoy cabin crew.

To top it all, they are also the ones who snore the loudest.

And, not only are people from other countries reluctant to sit next to a Briton on a flight, even Brits themselves wouldn't like to do so, reports The Sun.

However, the total opposite is the true for Italians.

People from the land of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, according to those who were polled, are the friendliest fliers.

This is also shown how willing they are to carry on a conversation with their neighbours, with more than two-thirds doing so as compared to 16 per cent of Brits.
