Camilla to holiday without Charles after Diana memorial debacle

Prince Charles wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is getting set to jet off for a holiday without her hubby a few days after the memorial service for Princess Diana.

London, Aug 31 : Prince Charles' wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is getting set to jet off for a holiday without her hubby a few days after the memorial service for Princess Diana.

Camilla, who pulled out of attending the service at virtually the last minute due to public anger, will now spend the day at Raymill House, the Wiltshire house she bought after her divorce from first husband. Andrew Parker Bowles, and which she insisted on keeping after her marriage to Prince Charles.

Camilla is said to be furious at the way Charles' aides have handled her handled the issue, and so is the Prince of Wales himself.

Charles, who will drive to join his wife straight after the service, is said to especially angry at the "humiliation" she has suffered.

After he joins her at Raymill house, the two will then spend the weekend together at Highgrove, the marital home, before Camilla heads off for a holiday with a small group of friends next week.

Not accompanying her however, will be her husband.

A source however insisted that the row over the service had not caused a rift between the couple.

"This is a long-planned trip and there is nothing untoward. The couple normally enjoy separate holidays at some point," the Daily Mail quoted the source, as saying.
