Nawaz wouldnt return to Pak assure Shah Abdullah, Hariri

Shah Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and Saad Hariri of Lebanon have assured President Pervez Musharraf that Nawaz Sharif would not return back to Pakistan in the near future, a local Sri Lankan daily has reported.

Islamabad, Aug 30 : Shah Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and Saad Hariri of Lebanon have assured President Pervez Musharraf that Nawaz Sharif would not return back to Pakistan in the near future, a local Sri Lankan daily has reported.

The unnamed paper further claims that Abdullah and Saad have assured Musharraf that they would utilise their influence to stop Sharif's return before the forthcoming general elections.

The paper said that Saad visited Sharif in London and asked him to comply with the agreement that he signed in 2000.

Sources said that it was made clear to Sharif that if he wanted any change in the agreement, then he had to finalise it with the government.

Shah Abdulla's message too has been delivered to Sharif, The Nation said in its report.
