Both Pakistan and Bangladesh today rejected claims by Indian officials and politicians about terror outfits operating in the two neighbouring countries behind the Saturdays twin blasts in Hyderabad that left 44 people dead and over sixty people injured.
Islamabad/ Dhaka, Aug 27 : Both Pakistan and Bangladesh today rejected claims by Indian officials and politicians about terror outfits operating in the two neighbouring countries behind the Saturday's twin blasts in Hyderabad that left 44 people dead and over sixty people injured.
"I do not want to comment on conjectures. It's always better to investigate incidents of terrorism than to start speculating," said Pakistan's Foreign office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam, on being asked to comment on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Reddy's claim that Pakistan-based terrorists were behind the blasts.
Meanwhile, Dhaka also rejected the claim that Bangladesh based HUJI terror outfit could be behind the twin blasts."The allegations are baseless, I reject them," Foreign Affairs Adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury said.
Both countries also condemned the heinous act.
"Such abhorrent violence is a blot on the conscience of humanity," Chowdhury said.
