Pakistan today successfully test fired a new Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) named Hatf-8 (Raad) from an undisclosed location.
Islamabad, Aug 25 : Pakistan today successfully test fired a new Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) named Hatf-8 (Ra'ad) from an undisclosed location.
The 350-km range missile could be launched from a variety of Pakistan's aircraft, as claimed by the establishment here.
It can carry all types of warheads and is similar to Pakistan's long range Babur cruise missile.
President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz have congratulated the scientists and engineers involved in the development of the new national strategic capability, The News reported.
