Islamabad, Aug 25 : Pakistan's famous women's rights activist Mukhtar Mai is all set conduct open courts all over the country to make women more aware of their rights.

At the open courts, the noted activist would also try to redress the grievances of those women who have been 'victimised by their parents or husbands'.

"If the problem will be complex, she will approach the district administration, the police or the media," the Dawn quoted Mai, as saying. The first such open court will be held in her native District of Muzaffargarh.

She also added that she would make all possible efforts to solve the problems of the people turning up at courts.

Besides open courts, she plans to set up schools in villages where girls and adults would be imparted free education.
