The White House has slammed reports that Jenna Bush is marrying her longtime boyfriend because she is pregnant.
New York, August 23 : The White House has slammed reports that Jenna Bush is marrying her longtime boyfriend because she is pregnant.
Recent reports claimed that the first daughter was tying the knot too quickly because she is expecting Virginia man Henry Hager's child.
However, a rep for First Lady Laura Bush insisted that pregnancy is not the reason behind Jenna's decision to marry Hager, reports the New York Daily News.
Jenna and Hager were engaged on August 15 in Maine and the White House made the announcement the next day.
Laura Bush's press secretary, Sally McDonough, however, said that no wedding date has been set as yet.
