L A Galaxy fans furious over Becks absence from match

L A Galaxy fans made their disappointment clear on hearing that David Beckham was not playing a match because of injury.

London, Aug.2 : L A Galaxy fans made their disappointment clear on hearing that David Beckham was not playing a match because of injury.

Holding up posters like "Wanted", "too scared", "I lost" and a banner with the message "Bench it like Beckham", the disguntled fans were clearly frustrated with Becks no show, reports The Daily Mail.

Another fan put up the message: "Welcome to America where people like you get paid to do nothing."

Beckham, however, wasn't even on the bench for Galaxy's tie with FC Dallas in the SuperLiga, Group A Final.

Now the club - and the fans - will be hoping he is match fit to line up against Toronto FC.

Beckham is receiving treatment daily for the injury, first suffered while playing for England on June 6.

ebut: Beckham's debut appearance was a short one when he came on as late substitute.

Although the wait for Beckham's full debut is frustrating for the fans, the club does not want to rush the former England captain, who has signed a five-year contract potentially worth 250 million dollars.
