Fresh wave of violence erupted in the tribal dominated western region of Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan, as clashes between the army and radicals left seven soldiers and 15 militants dead. he fresh clashes took place in Chack Malai and adjacent areas of North Waziristan, The News reported quoting Pakistan military sources.
Islamabad, Aug 17 : Fresh wave of violence erupted in the tribal dominated western region of Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan, as clashes between the army and radicals left seven soldiers and 15 militants dead. he fresh clashes took place in Chack Malai and adjacent areas of North Waziristan, The News reported quoting Pakistan military sources.
Eleven other soldiers were also injured in the clashes.
The clashes occurred when military convoy had come under attack and the security forces retaliated.
