Buying the wrong biscuits can leave you with a bloody nose!

London, Aug 15 : A Brit man elbowed his wife in the nose - for buying him the wrong biscuits.

Stephen Dixon was so furious when wife Deborah bought him chocolates biscuits that he can't stand, that he stormed out of the house and went on a booze binge.

When he returned at 3.40 am, the couple got into a fight, that ended with Stephen throwing his arms out and catching his wife on her nose with his elbow.

However, instead of being contrite, he yelled: "I hope it's f****** broken," reports The Sun.

The cops were then called in.

And though a court in Consett, Co Durham, spared Stephen jail saying that the blow not intentional, the 44-year old got two years' supervision and must attend a domestic violence programme.

Stephen and Deborah's marriage is now over, and the couple have filed for divorce.
