Stage set for Narendra Modi to be sworn in as the Prime Minister of India

Stage has been set for the BJP leader and former Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to be sworn in as the Prime Minister of India on Monday evening at 6pm.

The list of 18 Union Cabinet Ministers and 16 Ministers of States has been sent to the President of India. Leader of Opposition in the erstwhile Parliament Arun Jaitely may be given the Finance Ministry while another senior leader Sushma Swaraj is expected to get Union Minister for Foreign Affairs. The other names that rounds are Nitin Gadkari with Transport, Ravi Shankar Prasad with Information and Broadcasting while Dr Harsha Vardhan with Health. The other names who likely to bag Union Cabinet berths are General VK Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman. Among others who are likely are Venkaiah Naidu, Smriti Irani, Poonam Mahajan, Kirit Somaiya, Kalraj Mishra, Ananth Kumar, Sumitra Mahajan, Satyapal Singh, P Ashok Gajapati Raju.
