'Regional parties will back Congress', says Sharad Pawar

Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday said that the regional party leader like Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will prefer to extend support to Congress.
Pawar said that they will not support BJP leader Narendra Modi as they very much comfortable with Congress led government. He said that the minorities do not have any comfort level with Modi, he said. He was of the opinion that a diverse, complex country had to have a tem running it. Narendra Modi had side-lined top leaders like LK Advani and Jaswant Singh and added that a successful Foreign Minister, Singh was not given ticket', said Pawar. The Agriculture Minister said that his opposition to Narendra Modi is on account of his politics in reference to the post-Godhra riots of 2002.
