'Rahul is unfit to rule the country', says Narendra Modi

The Bharatiya Janata Party's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is unfit to rule the country.

Addressing a rally at Surajpur in the Sarguja Lok Sabha Constituency of Chhattisgarh, Modi said that Sonia Gandhi was giving her son Rahul Gandhi to the people of Amethi and asked them to take care of Rahul. At time, she says her son will handle the country. Can a person, who is not bale to handle Amethi, look after the country?'.

Modi cited a report published in a US magazine that Modi said that a son-in-law in the Gandhi family was a magician who could make Rs.300 crore from Rs.1 lakh. He said that 'we had heard of 2G and now it is Jijaji (brother in law) that they have been looting the country. Do you want to give the reigns in the hands of such people, Modi asked.

Referring to a recent press meet by Pankaj Pachauri, media adviser of the Prime Minister, he said that ' a former media adviser of the Prime Minister has made it public that the UPA government was not being run by the Prime Minster but by the mother-son duo in an apparent reference to Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.
