PM calls for best possible treatment for Gorakhdham rail accident injured, announces relief

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has directed the Railway Ministry to ensure that the relief operations following the Gorakhdham rail accident are carried out smoothly. Mr. Modi said that it must be seen that all the injured are provided the best possible medical care.
The Prime Minister has sanctioned an ex-gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh each to the next of kin those deceased from the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund and Rs 50,000 each of those seriously injured in the accident.
