Kejriwal sent to two day judicial custody

Aam Aadmi party president Arvind Kejriwal was sent to two days judicial custody in connection with the defamation case filed by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.

The action of the court sending Kejriwal to judicial custody followed when he refused to pay the bail bond of Rs.10,000. He told to the court that he would not furnish a bail bond as the case is of political nature and instead would give an undertaking to the court that he will attend for every hearing.

The AAP chief was summoned to the court for describing the BJP leader as corrupt. Kejriwal will be kept in prison no.4, Tihar Central Jail said prison authorities.
