Exit polls give BJP led NDA as favorites to form Government at Centre

May 12, 2014 - New Delhi

After the end of the general elections 2014, the BJP led NDA will form the government at Centre says exit polls on Monday. Three exit polls predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) with winning in between 272 to 289 seat in the 545 member Lok Sabha.


India Today-CICERO exit poll predicted that that BJP led NDA will get 272 or more seats. It gave the Congress led United Prog4ressive Alliance (UPA) with 115 seats and other parties with 156. The tally for the Congress grouping was 110.


ABP-Nielsen survey predicted that NDA will get 272 seats while the UPA with limiting to 110.


India TV –CVoter put the NDA on the top with 289 seats while the UPA with less than 101. Other Groups were projected to get 148 seats and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) five seats nationally.
