CBI questions Madhu Koda in coal blocks allocation scam

- Officials of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has questioned former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda in connection to the multi-crore coal blocks allocation scam.
- Madhu Koda was shown papers related to the allocation of Amarkonda Murgadangal coal block in Birbhum, Jharkhand to two firms of Congress' Lok Sabha MP Naveen Jindal.
- He was questioned if Jharkhand government has done any favours to Jindal in getting coal blocks allocated to Jindal Steel and Power Limited and Gagan Sponge Iron Privaet Limited in 2008.
- CBI has registered a case on June 11, 2013 against former Minister of State for Coal Dasari Narayana Rao and Naveen Jindal for alleged cheating, graft and criminal misconduct in coal block allocation.
