Panasonic Initiates its Community Health Project- Aarogya
December 24, 2013 - Jhajjar, Haryana, India
The project ‘Arogya’ will cover six villages in the first phase (FY 2013-14) and will be extended to 12 villages in the second phase (FY2014-15). As a part of this initiative, a fully equipped van will be activated in the areas identified. This van will cater to patients with basic illnesses and chronic problems and provide a free health check-up for children in schools of the project villages. The mobile van will reach out to places which do not have medical facilities and will cater specially to women, children and elderly people. Health Cards and OPD cards will also be issued which will be duly authorized by the village Sarpanch. With the objective of fostering an all-round development to the immediate communities, the surrounding villages that will mainly be a part of this project will primarily include Nangla, Kutani, Yakubpur, BirDadri, Sheojipura, Nimana, Kalai, Aurangpur, Zahidpur and Munimpur Kukrola.
