Ansal University, Gurgaon, a Private university dedicated to providing advanced Trans-disciplinary education hosted a day-long 1st Industry-University International Conference on Supply Chain jointly organized by Ansal Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow (India) and Clemson University (USA). The conference provided a platform for industry thought leaders and academia to share experiences and ideas on supply chain best practices and challenges with a special focus on the construction, automotive and retail sectors.

Academicians like Dr. Prem Vrat, Vice Chancellor, ITM University, Gurgaon; Dr. B. Metri, Dean-Academics, International Management Institute, Delhi; Prof. HS Saxena, Director, Ansal Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow; Prof. Anand Gramopadhye, Clemson University and Dr. Raj Singh, Vice Chancellor, Ansal University, Gurgaon spoke about the role of educational institutions in trying to support industry to successfully navigate the supply chain challenges. Dr. William Ferrell of Clemson University chaired the conference.
