UPA failed in protecting Indians abroad says Joshi

August 12, 2012 - Patna

Varanasi MP and senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi criticized the UPA government for failing to protect the Indians abroad. Referring to the recent attack at a Sikh temple at Wisconsin in the USA, Manohar Joshi said that the government has been an 'utter failure' in protecting Indians in other countries.

He also said that the NDA is not in a hurry to announce their prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 General Elections. Referring to the recent demand of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he said that it was a suggestion.

He also said that human rights was under threat in the neighboring country of Pakistan and many people are deserting Pakistan to India. The BJP would raise these issues in the Parliament soon, he said.
