Security forces recover explosives in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir

Security forces have recovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IED's) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri District.

Senior Superintendent Police of Rajouri, Vijay Singh Sambyal on Saturday said a search operation was carried out after a tip-off with the assistance of Rashtriya Rifles.

"Our personnel received information from some reliable sources that two IED's have been planted. At night the personnel started the search operation in the morning at around six, they found that two IED's were fitted along side the water pipes, ten metres above the road. After the recovery, with the assistance of a troop of 38 RR (Rashtriya Rifles), the IED's were blasted and diffused," said Sambyal.
