  • The Central government has asked the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) not to facilitate Suresh Kalmadi's visit to London. A letter was dispatched by the Sports Ministry to IOA Secretary-General Randhir Singh. The decision was taken considering the serious charges leveled against Kalmadi relating to the conduct of the 2010 Common Wealth Games. Earlier, a Delhi Court has allowed Kalmadi to go to London and asked him to furnish a bond of Rs. 10 lakh and a surety for a like amount.
