Delhi Gangrape victim condition still critical

The condition of the 23-year-old gangrape victim has deteriorated on Monday. The doctors at the Safdarjung Hospital who are treating her has released a new bulletin which said that the victim showed tendencies of internal bleeding. The doctors termed her present condition as "very serious and very critical."
The bilirubin level of the victim came down to 5.5 from 6.3 on Sunday. The platelet count has increased to 70,000 from 19,000. The victim is able to maintain normal urine output. She is undergoing psychological counselling. No improvement in the condition of the victim was noticed even though she was conscious.
The 23-year-old medical student was gangraped and physically assaulted in a moving bus in Delhi and was thrown out on December 16.
