  • Realty firm DLF has decided to end its five-year long association with the Indian Premier League as the title sponsor. The country's largest realty firm did not renew its contract which was due last month. The company will now focus on promoting other sports.
  • An Udaipur court has fined Bollywood film actor Ranbir Kapoor Rs. 200 for smoking in public. A local daily earlier published images of the actor smoking on May 28, while shooting for Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani in Udaipur. Public smoking is banned in Rajasthan as part of the Prevention of Smoking Act.
  • A Delhi court has sent former Haryana minister Gopal Goyal Kanda to a 14-day judicial custody. The Delhi police told the court that Kanda was not required for further custodial interrogation.
