Services of 108 ERS to all the Districts of MP till March 2013

GVK EMRI Madhya Pradesh is expanding the current fleet of 102 ambulances. They will add 502 more ambulances by the end of March 2013. Expansion plan was formalized in this regard during the meeting between Shri Pravir Krishn, Principal Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh and Shri Subodh Satyawadi, GVK EMRI Chief Executive Officer. With this the all 50 districts of MP will be able to enjoy the boon of GVK EMRI 108 services which is till now available to only the people of 10 districts of the state. On this occasion Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Health Commissioner, Ms. M Geetha, MD NRHM, Mr. Devendra Singh, GVK EMRI Head of Operations were also present.

Shri Subodh satyavadi, CEO GVK EMRI, informed that all the necessary arrangements for the launch of 502 ambulances, like fabrication/manpower hiring and training have been lined up to ensure that GVK EMRI 108 service is available to each and every one in the state of Madhya Pradesh by the end of March 2013.

GVK EMRI presently operates about 4000 ambulances in 12 states and 2 union territories, which is expected to reach 5000 with addition of ambulances in MP and other states like UP and Tamilnadu by the end of this financial year.

  • Trauma vehicular cases handled since inception 72,546
  • Lives saved since inception 27,276
  • Deliveries assisted in the ambulances since inception 4334
