Next Indo-Pak Foreign Secretary-level talks at June end

June 9, 2011 - New Delhi

Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao has said that the next round of Foreign Secretary level talks between India and Pakistan will be held at the end of this month in Islamabad.

She conveyed this to the visiting Pakistani journalists, who met her in New Delhi.

The talks come after a series of high-level meetings between the two nations on key issues like security, water and trade and commerce.

India and Pakistani had resumed their comprehensive dialogue on all issues earlier this year, which was stalled after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

India and Pakistan decided to resume the two-day talks after Prime Ministers of both the nations met in Thimpu last year and decided to carry forward the dialogue process.
