Chhattisgarh Tourism Board all Set to Lure Students and Senior Citizens with Attractive Offers

Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, the governing body of one on the fastest growing tourism destinations in India, has recently announced attractive offers to attract domestic tourists to experience the exotic beauty of this unexplored place. For the first time, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board is offering special discounts on room rents across all of its properties in the state as well as introducing special family package tours spanning various tourist circuits in the State. These new initiatives are being aggressively promoted at various platforms and events nationally for example, during the recent Rajyotsav 2011 in Raipur as well as during the ongoing India International Trade Fair 2011 in New Delhi. These are aimed at increasing tourist footfalls to the state during the upcoming year-end tourist season.

For Senior Citizens

CTB is offering a flat 50% discount on all of its properties across the state for Senior Citizens. This offer has been introduced for the first time by the Board.

For Students

To encourage school children to visit the state, experience pristine nature, dense forests and learn from the ethno-diversity of this region, CTB is also offering special discounts for school children. For a group of 25 school children & above, CTB is offering a room rent of Rs. 75 per student daily including food. The tariff is applicable on producing a letter from the school authorities.

The above fabulous offers can be availed by students & senior citizens at all the state tourism hotels and resorts including Hotel Chhattisgarh in Raipur, Tourist Guest House in Gangrel, Luxury Resort in Chitrakote, The Eco Resort in Modha and Tourist Motel in Amadb (Bilaspur).

Tourism in Chhattisgarh has many dimensions. The state that boasts of nearly 50% forest cover, has numerous tourist sites that offer unique experiences to the discerning traveller. Come winters and the 13 national parks and 3 wild life sanctuaries beckon tourists to explore the dense lush green forests that conceal the exotic wildlife.
