Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to visit China

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will leave for China on a 'goodwill' tour on Sunday along with some of his ministerial colleagues.

According to reports, Bihar Water Resources Department (WRD) Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Bihar Tourism Minister Sunil Kumar Pintoo and Development Commissioner K C Sah will accompany the chief minister.

During his visit, Nitish Kumar is expected to visit power plants, besides looking into its agriculture and irrigation systems.

He would also be inaugurating a seminar 'Buddhism: Mapping Asia's History and Culture' in Beijing on June 18, and attend a programme to be hosted in his honour by the people of Indian-origin in Shanghai.

The Chief Minister would also visit Sandong and the Great Wall of China.
