Group of Ministers (GoM) headed by Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will meet on Wednesday to discuss the issue of equity infusion into Air India and an assessment of its turnaround plans.

New Delhi, Feb 3 Group of Ministers (GoM) headed by Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will meet on Wednesday to discuss the issue of equity infusion into Air India and an assessment of its turnaround plans.

The GoM includes Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, Union Law and Justice Minister M Veerappa Moily and Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Praful Patel.

The government had earlier decided to grant Rs 800 crore to the ailing career this financial year, while another Rs 1200 crore was to be sanctioned in 2010-2011.
