The Lok Sabha on Wednesday congratulated master blaster Sachin Tendulkar for becoming most-capped batsman in Test cricket history.


New Delhi, Aug 3 : The Lok Sabha on Wednesday congratulated master blaster Sachin Tendulkar for becoming most-capped batsman in Test cricket history.

Tendulkar made his 169th Test appearance on Tuesday against Sri Lanka in the final Test.

Tendulkar is the highest run getter in both versions of the game. He has also scored the maximum number of hundreds in both Tests and ODI's.

However, the house was adjourned till 11.30 a.m. after the opposition raised the issue of corruption in the Commonwealth Games and on other issues.
