Leakage of report is an attempt to polarise votes: Rajnath Singh

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh has described the leakage of the Liberhan Commission Report as an attempt to polarise voters during the forthcoming Jharkhand assembly polls.

Ranchi, Nov 23 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh has described the leakage of the Liberhan Commission Report as an attempt to polarise voters during the forthcoming Jharkhand assembly polls.

Singh is campaigning for party candidates ahead of the upcoming elections.

Speaking to the media Singh said: "The Liberhan Report has been selectively leaked by the UPA Government to polarise votes in the Jharkhand Assembly elections."

"The Liberhan Report was submitted to the Union Government on June 30 and parliament was in session in July. The report was not tabled in parliament in July session. The parliament session is on and, instead of tabling the report in parliament, it has been selectively leaked to the media,' he added.

Singh also accused that "The move is to polarise the votes."
