18 killed, 12 injured in Pithoragarh bus mishap

At least eighteen people are feared dead and twelve others injured after a bus in which they were travelling fell into a ditch in Pithoragarh District of Uttarakhand on Wednesday morning.

Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand), May 21 : At least eighteen people are feared dead and twelve others injured after a bus in which they were travelling fell into a ditch in Pithoragarh District of Uttarakhand on Wednesday morning.

The accident happened on the way to Bageshwar from Pithoragarh.

The cause of the accident is still unknown, police said.

Rescue operations have been launched and the injured were admitted to nearby hospitals.
