12 labourers killed after wall collapses

At least twelve labourers were killed and more than twenty injured when a wall at an under construction site collapsed in a village near Gurgaon.

Gurgaon, May 18 : At least twelve labourers were killed and more than twenty injured when a wall at an under construction site collapsed in a village near Gurgaon.

Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Gupta said the incident took place on Saturday night at Khedakhuram village in Farrukhnagar tehsil, around 30 kilometre from Gurgaon.

The labourers were living adjacent to the under- construction site, he said.

All the injured have been rushed to the civil hospital, Gurgaon and the toll is likely to go up.

According to officials, the materials used for the construction were not of good quality.
