2 Maoists killed in an encounter in Orissa

Police killed two suspected Maoists in Malkangiri district of Orissa today.

Malkangiri, May 17 : Police killed two suspected Maoists in Malkangiri district of Orissa today.

The district Superintendent of Police (SP) Satish Gajvia, said that the police party spotted a hide-out during patrolling in Tonkelguda forest, adjoining Andhra Pradesh.

The Maoists opened fire on the police .In retaliation, the police gunned down two Maoists while others managed to escape.The police has sent the bodies for post mortem.
