The Indian Railways made a record profit of Rs 25,000 crores last year. This is for the first time when Prasad will speak on railways' turnaround story outside India.

Earlier, he had an interaction with students of top business schools in India. In Singapore, he would interact with 350 MBA students of the globally reputed Institute d'Administration des Affairs (INSEAD) Asia campus on Monday.

Railways have an agreement with INSEAD for providing training to its senior officials on customer strategies.

Prasad is also scheduled to attend a presentation on the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit System.

He will be accompanied by senior Railway officials including Railway Board Member (Staff) S S Khurana. S K Vij, Member (Engineer), will be joining the Minister in Malaysia on May 16.
