LeT militant re-arrested in Doda

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday re-arrested a Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant Abdul Qadir.

Doda (Jammu and Kashmir), Mar 30 : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday re-arrested a Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant Abdul Qadir.

Qadir, who was arrested on March 2, had escaped from the custody on last Tuesday.

"Qadir was earlier arrested on March 2 for smuggling arms and ammunition from the Kashmir Valley to Bhaderwah town in Doda district and had escaped from the lockup in Doda on last Tuesday," said a police official.

The District administration had suspended two policemen on charges of disregard of duty following the escape of the militant.
