New Delhi, March 30: At least four labourers were injured after being hit by a speeding BMW car here in the early hours today leaving one of them critical.

New Delhi, March 30: At least four labourers were injured after being hit by a speeding BMW car here in the early hours today leaving one of them critical.

The Police said the labourers were replacing tyre of a truck when the BMW hit them at the Ring Road near Safdarjung Hospital in southwest Delhi.

The injured have been admitted in the Safdarjung Hospital. The condition of one of the injured was stated to be critical. The police has arrested Gurmeet Singh, who was behind wheel at the time of the accident. A case for rash and negligent driving was registered against him.

A further investigation has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances under which the incident happened.
