Andhra Pradesh, Mar 03 : The Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly K R Suresh suspended Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members and party deputy floor leader Devender Goud from the Assemble for a day.
The TDP disrupted the proceedings by raising anti-government slogans and seeking immediate stoppage of auctions of government lands at different places in the state.
The Speaker had adjourned the house for a brief period initially.
The TDP members held dharna near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi followed by their suspension when the situation did not improve after the reassemble of the staff.
