New Delhi, Mar 27 : The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today gave its approval for waiving the ceiling of Rs.10 biillion for equity investment by NTPC Ltd. to establish financial joint ventures and wholly owned subsidiaries in India or abroad for participating in the bidding called by State Utilities or Distribution licensees under case 2 of the bidding guidelines for setting up power projects.
