He said it was the Congress that was behind the reign of terror going on in Jammu and Kashmir for the past several decades, and also promoted Bhindrawale in Punjab, the it was hands-in-glove with the ULFA in the Northeast, and the sponsored LTTE in the South.

Speaking to media persons at his New Delhi residence this afternoon, Naidu said the Congress should stop teaching lessons of terrorism to the BJP otherwise it would lead to a nationwide debate about Congress' role in combating terrorism.
Referring to Advani's revelations in his latest book "My Country, My Life" that he was not consulted nor was he aware that the then Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh would be personally going to Kandahar to secure the release of the passengers, AICC General Secretary Veerappa Moily told mediapersons that "this goes to prove that Advani did not enjoy the trust of his ministry, officials and the Cabinet".
"The incident had also betrayed the failure of the cabinet system for the first time in the country," he said and added that Advani, who was the "weakest and the shameful Home Minister," was not taken seriously by even his own party colleagues.
