Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan ingh will lay the foundation stone for 1500 MW gas-based power lant Pragati Phase-III Power Project, to come up at an stimated cost of Rs 4,500 crore in West Delhi, today.

Bawana (New Delhi), Mar 24 : Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan ingh will lay the foundation stone for 1500 MW gas-based power lant "Pragati Phase-III Power Project", to come up at an stimated cost of Rs 4,500 crore in West Delhi, today.

Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and Petroleum Minister urli Deora will also be present on the occasion.

The proposed project (phase-III) has received clearance from nion Ministry of Environment and Forests.

Pragati Power Corporation has signed agreements with Bharat etroleum Corporation, GAIL and Indian Oil Corporation for supply f two million standard cubic meters per day of gas each to fire he power station.

The gas supply for the power project will be arranged by Petronet NG.
